Ardent Hibok-Hibok Hot Spring Resort

Ardent Hibok-Hibok Hot Spring Resort One of the main attractions of Camiguin aside from White Island is Ardent Hot Spring. It is situated 6 kilometers southwest of Mambajao specifically in Esperanza Tagdo, Mambajao, Camiguin in the Philippines. This is also considered as the most popular hot spring in the island. It is a natural pool of about 39 °C coming from the bowels of Mt. Hibok-Hibok. Before, Ardent Hot Spring used to be a four-tiered pool of varying depth and warmth with the hottest one located on the top. But because of the increasing number of tourist, they added two smaller pools. Also, because of the recent earthquake that struck the island, the hot water coming from Mt. Hibok-Hibok has moved to a different location. The management had to change the route and the pool with the hottest temperature is now located in the bottom part. Ardent Hot Spring has a beautiful landscape with natural stone formation, shrubs and decorative plants. There are cottages, restaurants, coffee shops and dormitory facilities provided for both local and foreign tourists. There are also picnic huts, cook-out facilities and restrooms provided for day trippers. Other amenities such table tennis and dart are also available in the resort.
